Wg Cdr Jaya Tare (Retd) embodies a pioneering spirit in aviation and space exploration, with over 3,500 hours of flight experience and an unwavering commitment to excellence. As the first woman officer appointed as Flight Liaison Officer to the Prime Minister of India. She is a qualified Aircraft Accident Investigator and has consistently led by example, breaking barriers and inspiring future generations.
Jaya’s leadership style is grounded in leading by example and transcends formal titles. As the Global 100 (G100) Head and state Chair for Space Technology and Aviation in Karnataka, she champions women’s empowerment and gender equality in these pioneering fields. Her role as Indian Ambassador for Project ShaktiSat reflects her unwavering dedication to inspiring young women and cultivating the next generation of global talent.
Guided by a “nation first” ethos, Jaya combines military discipline with corporate expertise from leading global teams at Amazon Air Operations. As the founder of Newrizon Space, she is committed to advancing the space ecosystem, nurturing talent and ensuring that the journey beyond Earth supports humanity’s best interests.
